Referral Program Terms & Conditions


1. Overview

The Referral Program (“Program”) rewards existing customers (“Referrer”) for referring new customers (“Referee”) to the service.

By participating in the Program, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms are subject to applicable consumer protection laws, including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and the Australian Consumer Law (“ACL”).
 

2. Eligibility

To participate:

  • Referrers must have an active account in good standing

  • Referees must be new customers who have not previously held an account

  • Both Referrer and Referee must be on eligible current plans

Referral codes must be applied at the time of signup, or within 24 hours.

We are unable to apply referral credits outside this timeframe, except where required by law.
 

3. Referral Rewards

Subject to these Terms:

  • The Referrer will receive a $50 account credit

  • The Referee will receive both 

    • a discounted daily charge on certain speeds for 6 months from sign-up, and 

    • $25 account credit

Credits:

  • Are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash

  • May only be used toward eligible services (including daily charges and add-ons)

  • Have no cash value

Nothing in this clause excludes any rights you may have under the ACL.

 

4. Conditions for approval of referral credit

Referral credits will only be applied once the Referee:

  • Completes any applicable trial period

  • Accumulates at least $100 in total daily charges (including initial payment)

  • Maintains an active service for a minimum of 30 days

All conditions must be met before credits are issued.

We may delay the application of credits for a reasonable period to verify eligibility, and prevent misuse.

 

5. Referral Code Use

  • Codes must not be misleading, deceptive, or offensive

  • Codes must not imply any official partnership, endorsement, or representation

We may modify or revoke referral codes where reasonably necessary to maintain the integrity of the Program.

 

6. Prohibited Conduct

The following activities are not permitted:

6.1 Account Integrity
  • Self-referrals, including use of multiple accounts

  • Creating duplicate, fake, or fraudulent accounts

  • Using variations of personal details to simulate separate individuals

  • Accounts sharing the same or substantially similar payment methods

  • Accounts with overlapping or systematically varied personal information


6.2 Behavioural Abuse
  • Referral loops or reciprocal arrangements

  • Coordinated group referrals designed to generate credits

  • Unusual spikes in referral activity inconsistent with typical customer behaviour

  • Cancelling or significantly reducing service shortly after qualifying for credits

  • Accounts demonstrating minimal genuine usage beyond qualification thresholds


6.3 Promotion Misuse
  • Offering cash, rewards, or other incentives in exchange for referrals

  • Misleading, deceptive or promotional conduct


6.4 Technical Abuse
  • Use of VPNs, proxies, or anonymisation tools to circumvent controls

  • Use of scripts, bots, or automated methods to generate referrals


6.5 Commercial Use
  • Use of the Program for commercial purposes, lead generation, or resale of referrals

 

7. Monitoring & Enforcement

We may monitor participation in the Program using information such as:

  • Account and identity details

  • Payment methods

  • Device and network information

  • Usage and behavioural patterns

Where we reasonably believe the Program is being misused or these Terms have been breached, we may:

  • Withhold, delay, or decline referral credits

  • Reverse credits that have been applied in error or as a result of misuse

  • Restrict or suspend participation in the Program

We will act reasonably and in good faith when exercising these rights.

Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the ACL.

 

8. Referral Limits

We may apply reasonable limits on the number or frequency of referral credits.

Accounts with unusually high referral activity may be reviewed to ensure compliance with these Terms.

 

9. Privacy

Referrers may be notified when a referral is successful and may be provided limited identifying information (such as name) for recognition purposes.

We will not share contact details or sensitive personal information.

All personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.

 

10. Changes to the Program

We may update, modify, suspend, or end the Program from time to time.

Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify customers.

Changes will not affect referral credits that have already been earned in accordance with these Terms.

 

11. Liability & Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Any indirect or consequential loss

  • Loss arising from suspension or termination of the Program

  • Loss resulting from ineligible referrals or misuse of the Program

 

12. General

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia

  • If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect

  • Our failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver
