Frequently Asked Questions
We use a high quality backhaul provider, called GSL, to handle a lot of our traffic. This means a reduced latency without compromising speed. We also handle traffic slightly differently and will push as much data as quickly as possible to reduce the latency on the line.
Yes we do! We have two options to opt out of CGNAT and get a static IP. There’s a 15c a day charge for a real world routable IP that if you pause, may change. The other option is a $100 deposit that will give you a full static IP that won’t change through pauses and unpauses and is entirely refundable once you no longer need it.
On average, a speed change takes about 20 minutes. There is no downtime during the speed change itself though. This means you can change your speed up and down whenever you want and our system will take care of the rest.
The only port we limit is 25, typically used for self-hosted email servers. This is to block spam emails being sourced from our network. It’s blocked outright on CGNAT, and rate-limited to 128kbps on a Static IP. No other limitations are placed on any ports or traffic.
