Opticomm Pricing Update

After a bit of a discussion, we've got the new Opticomm pricing ready and released! For the most part, Opticomm and other wholesale providers follow along with a similar pricing model and are usually released at the same time. We've got a list of the changes and a graph for the pricing changes themselves!

Opticomm have increased the speed tier offerings as a whole, adding a few new speed tiers along side the uplifted tiers. They have released all these services as orderable offers so you'll see that they'll cost the same but also have the higher speed version available.

Some of the noticeable changes are the inclusion of the uplifted speeds as a whole, being:

• An added 500/50 speed tier at $3.80 a day
• An added 750/50 speed tier at $4.00 a day
• An added 1000/100 speed tier at $4.60 a day

The New Pricing

To access the new pricing, you will need to log into your Launtel account, click the "Modify Service" option to view the current service plans, then you will see "Show Latest Pricing" up at the top. Give that a click and it will show you all the new available speeds and their pricing. Then you just select the speed you're after and submit the change!

Where's the 2Gb?

Opticomm don't have the 2Gb speed tier readily available at the moment. It is included in the pricing book available to retail service providers like us however, and this has caused a lot of confusion where some providers out there that have it mistakenly offered as available to order on their websites. This is not the case though, and the 2Gb speed tier isn't ready. We also do not have a confirmed estimate on when it will be.

FAQs

What is this daily pricing?
Launtel charges it's services per day which means you can change your speed tier when you'd like throughout the week. If you have a work project you need to urgently upload, or you want to download that new game that's just released, you can change your speed on the fly and only be charged for the days you're using that higher speed.

Can I get gigabit speeds in my area?
Some areas within the Opticomm network may not be able to support all high speed plans. If you place or modify a service and you don't see the desired speed tier available, let us know and we can look into it.

How do I modify my speed?
Just log in to your Launtel account, hit the "Modify Service" button under the service details and pick the speed you'd like!
